Court Nods For The Completion of Dwarka Expressway

New Delhi: Punjab and Haryana Court has given the nod for the completion of nine years ago sanctioned Dwarka Expressway which also known as Northern Peripheral Road. It connects Dwarka with NH-8 at Kherki Dhaula and will further pass Pataudi Road.

The construction of this 2.5km long road will now restart, which was stopped due to the land acquisition case, filed by 700 people whose homes and lands come under the way of NPR.

Now court has ordered remedy for all those people in the form of alternative land and those whose home is already there will get the compensation to build a new accommodation. Relief to owners of 40,000 housings.

This stretch has made the prices of the properties climbing high in Gurgaon in the last five years, but court litigation has lowered down the development of this significant corridor.
