Home Buyers Expect Positive Changes With H-RERA

Gurgaon is all set to rejuvenate again with the help of H-RERA. Soon Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority will get its portal to be in work over the coming 3 months. This has been declared by Dilbag Singh Sihag, executive director, Haryana RERA committee.

This portal will be a big relief as it will have a  system where developers will be graded based on their service, product, and timely deliveries. This grading will be done as per homebuyers’ review.

The committee has totally sent over 20 show-cause notices to various real estate builders in Haryana for non-compliance of Residential properties Gurgaon and advertising their projects without registration.

Not finding the full-fledged information regarding the project has been a major problem. Even after the complete declaration of RERA (Real Estate Regulation Act) rules by the Haryana government, the city homebuyers are disappointed and are finding ways to fix the problem.

As per the officials working at the town and country planning (TCP) Haryana has notified that the pending complaints regarding the delay of the project and the incompletion will be taken up by the new authority. Even after the notifications declared by RERA people were hoping for the big change but this hasn't been done till now. Vipul Aarohon and Tata Gurgaon Gateway are somewhere hope for the buyers that they will complete soon as the builders are reliable enough.

Till the date, the authorities have not exposed the builder's name yet. It is better that the builder who knew it themselves that they are lacking behind can move forward now ill the time authorities take actions. Even one of the homebuyer has also decided to file RTI query to get details.

Homebuyers are now filling RTI's with the hope that they can get the information of their respective projects and RERA registration details. Also, it is their right to look the matter with the complete front look.

Just for an example Manish Suman, another homebuyer, said that he felt sorry to say that government has not focused on RERA and the buyer's concerns yet, which they should have looked before when the rule was implemented. RERA, Demonetization, and GST have come up as big hope for the buyers through transparency and tax reduction.

Homebuyers are now only left with few options to represent their grief in front of government by filing cases in national consumer redressal form, filing RTI applications and moving court.

Another homebuyer has shown his concern and other buyer's concern too that they actually not able to understand that why is the government hiding details from buyers? Why various registrations have been canceled? Why the projects are actually getting delayed and why the government is not working on it? This is why they have only found RTI or the consumer forum as suitable options to get the info regarding whatever they need.

There are thousands of homebuyers in Gurgaon who are waiting for the process to be worked on and who is actually waiting for years for the possession. It is strongly felt that the dreams they might have seen for their new home have shredded away. There is even number of customers who are waiting for the possession since last 5-6 years and that too with the majority of the payment.

A pan-India entity such as the Forum for People’s Collective Efforts (FPCE) has been formed by homebuyers to fight this issue strongly and no doubt it was mandatory too.

Now homebuyers are with high hopes on H- RERA that this will work for them and will get the process done as soon as possible. All eyes are set on this step only that now what the new authorities will work?
