The story is all changed and more time saving, fancy online retail for buying books and electronics rather than going to the retail stores and wasting their time, considering, same, one of the leading and well known reality firm DLF Group has planned to bring a new style mall-one of the largest in India- categories like upmarket, entertainment, food and fashion.

DLF mall of India based on a derisking model with an investment of Rs 1,100 crore and the company looks ahead an annual revenue of Rs 200 crore from this new modern mall.

Builder planning to open it in the month of March, location (NOIDA) and it will be in nearly 2 million sq.ft leasable area.

“Probably, the mall will be in working status in the spring of 2015, more or less the target is till March,” DLF Utilities Sr Vice President (Leasing and Mall Head) Pushpa Bector added.

And around 70 per cent of the total mall space would be operational.

When asked about the concept to deal with growing e-commerce, she added, “Our focus is on overall entertainment and customers get impeccable indulgent and they have quality time and enjoy their food, shopping and entertainment portion”.

Focus to keep food, fashion and entertainment up and minimum space for books & electronics, as these are very trendy online and physical stores may suffer because of the growing attractiveness of e-commerce.

In total, nearly 20 lakh sq.ft of area where global fashion is stretch over 5.6 sq ft and the other remaining 5.7 sq ft for entertainment and food.

It will offer DT Star Cinemas property in Delhi-NCR with 7 screens with the space of around 2,000 seats along with the food court of 1,000 seating wide space. Not only this, but along with this there will be another 23 casual dining options.

Before, the company has formed an internal team to examine the impact of e-commerce on the retail business and also recommend the mode to deal with it.

The mall would hold 475 retail units with three level parking for around 3,500 vehicles.

Lastly, the leading name DLF has a land back of around 300 millions sq.ft of area, where 50 million is under construction.
